Superstar Rajinikanth had a dream run in the year 2011 with his Endhiran - The Robot making a record collection in Kollywood, Bollywood and Overseas box-office. Endhiran has anonymously been chosen as the best film for technical advancements which matched international standards.
The Superstar has been nominated for the Indian of the Year & Entertainer of the Year Award in NDTV yearly award functions and has been chosen as the winner by the jury panel. Rajinikanth received the award at a grand functions which held at Hotel Taj Palace, Delhi on 15-02-2011
